1. Embedding the App into Your Theme

To activate the InterioApp within your Shopify store, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Shopify admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Online Store > Themes.

  3. Select the theme you want to customize and click Customize.

  4. In the Theme Editor, locate App Embeds on the left sidebar.

  5. Find the Curtain and Blind Calculator app embed.

  6. Toggle the switch to Activate the app embed.

  7. Click Save at the top right corner.

 

2. Activating Metafields

Metafields link your products to the InterioApp calculator.

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Products.

  2. Select a product (e.g., curtain fabric or blind).

  3. Scroll to the Metafields section at the bottom.

  4. If you don’t see the necessary metafields, click View all metafields.

  5. Select the appropriate metafield:

    • InterioApp: Curtain Pricing Table

    • InterioApp: Venetian Blinds Pricing Table

    • InterioApp: Roman Blinds Pricing Table

  6. Choose the relevant pricing table you've created.

  7. Click Save.

 

3. Creating and Customizing Curtains

Curtain Headings

  1. In the InterioApp dashboard, click Curtains.

  2. Under Curtain Headings, click Create Curtain Heading.

  3. Select a Heading Type:

    • Pleated Curtains

    • Eyelet Curtains

    • Wave Curtains

  4. Add a Heading Name (visible to customers).

  5. Upload a Heading Image and Hover Image (optional).

  6. Define Fullness, Hems, and Lining Options.

  7. Set up pricing using a manual table or CSV upload.

  8. Click Save.

 

4. Creating and Customizing Blinds

Creating Variants

  1. In InterioApp, go to Variants.

  2. Click Add Variant.

  3. Enter the Variant Name (e.g., Slat Width, Mounting Type).

  4. Upload images, set additional pricing if needed.

  5. Click Save.

Adding Services

  1. Create a new variant named Services.

  2. Add service options (Measuring, Installation, Consultation).

  3. Enter pricing and set to Active.

  4. Click Save.

Adding Blinds

  1. In InterioApp, navigate to Blinds.

  2. Click Add Blind.

  3. Enter a Blind Name (e.g., Roller Blinds, Wooden Blinds).

  4. Assign Variants and Colours.

  5. Click Save.

 

5. Setting Up Pricing Tables

  1. Create a spreadsheet with width and height dimensions.

  2. Fill in corresponding prices.

  3. Save as a CSV file.

  4. Upload it to InterioApp under the product pricing section.

 

6. Customizing Appearance Settings

General Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings > General.

  2. Adjust language, units, and terms.

  3. Customize button text for better user experience.

Appearance Settings

  1. Modify theme colors, button styling, and calculator appearance.

  2. Click Save.

 

7. Finalizing and Testing

  1. Ensure all metafields and pricing tables are set correctly.

  2. Preview a product page and verify the calculator’s functionality.

  3. Test multiple configurations for accuracy.

8. Bulk Importing Metafield Data

  1. Go to Settings > General Settings in InterioApp.

  2. Click Import Metafield Data.

  3. Upload your metafields CSV file.

  4. Click Import.
